IS6C-TRF is a passive 2-way coaxial ceiling speaker from the dBTechnologies installation series, designed for fixed installations in public and private environments, both indoor and outdoor. It is a suitable solution for applications such as bars, restaurants, hotels, hospitality venues, conference rooms, retail spaces, offices and common areas, where reliability, uniform sound coverage and ease of installation are required.?Equipped with a 6.5” long-excursion woofer, front reflex port and magnetic grille, it is designed for ceiling and surface mounting, ensuring consistent performance and discreet integration into architectural spaces.

Coverage and acoustic performance

The coaxial design provides uniform 90° x 90° coverage, making it particularly suitable for environments with low ceilings or complex geometries. The 6.5” long-excursion woofer delivers excellent low-frequency extension, resulting in balanced and natural sound reproduction, intended for both speech and background music applications.

Construction and durability

The speaker is IP55 certified, making it ideal for protected outdoor installations as well. The ABS cabinet and metal magnetic grille ensure solid mechanical resistance and long-term durability. The white grille, independently customizable, allows for seamless aesthetic integration across different interior design requirements.

Simplified installation

The design is focused on maximum ease of installation. The speaker is compatible with mineral fiber ceilings, for which it is supplied with a reinforcement structure, cutout template, connector protection and pre-installed fixing system, as well as with plasterboard ceilings. Installation and maintenance are further simplified and secured thanks to safety cables on both the enclosure and the magnetic grille.

System integration

The speaker can operate in both constant voltage (70/100 V) and low-impedance (8 Ohm) systems, offering flexibility in system design. Thanks to the closed-back enclosure, acoustic performance remains consistent regardless of the size of the cavity between the ceiling and the false ceiling, simplifying system setup and equalization. Each package includes 2 IS6C-TRF loudspeakers, including mounting accessories.
