The WME 953 is a weatherproof microphone unit for stationary and mobile noise control and the analysis of environmental and traffic noise

It consists of the 1/2" prepolarized measuring microphone capsule MK 255, the 1/2" measuring microphone preamplifier MV 220 with a 5 m balanced XLR cable, the dehumidifier TA 202, the rain shield RS 95, the wind shield WS 94 with bird spike and the mechanical holder.

The WME 953 can be connected directly to measuring systems with 48 V phantom power.

The microphone unit can be calibrated with the Pistonphone type 5002 or other current sound pressure calibrators.

The WME 953 is designed for sound level meters of Type 1 according to IEC 61672.
